When Marci told us she wanted to shoot her engagements on her dad’s deer lease, we didn’t know just how perfect this location would be. Ashley and I drove to Caddo Mills that Sunday evening and fell in love with the tiny town! We met Marci and Landon at her parents house and were instantly welcomed by their families, eager to join us for the photo shoot! We jumped in the family truck and drove to the deer lease to find a photographer’s paradise – luscious trees, old barns & rustic houses, and green grass! The weather was perfect and our subjects were easy going. When a client tells you “We trust you, just do your thing” it’s the best feeling. Through conversation we discovered that Landon’s family owns a pizza place and he had a pizza made for our drive home! He must have known the way to our hearts is through our stomachs, lol! Marci & Landon, we can’t wait for the wedding

Summer & Michael Engagement | Fort Worth Wedding Photographers

I couldn’t wait to meet this guy who was worthy of Summer’s love, and when I did, I agreed it was a match made in heaven ! Summer is one of the most thoughtful, funny, brilliant women I know and the day I received an email in my inbox saying she was engaged, I was ecstatic for her! I count it such a honor to capture the spark between these two lovebirds! If you’ve spent any time with Summer, odds are you peed in your pants at least once. Putting the two of them together is like trying to breath with a side stitch! Summer & Michael met in the Police Academy and were both recruits. He’s now serving as the deputy for Tarrant County and she’s the accreditation officer for Watauga. My favorite story Summer told us was the day Michael handcuffed their arms together as they were driving down the road, assuring her he had the key. But he didn’t, he left the key in his other uniform!
Summer patiently waited for her perfect guy and to hear the unfolding of their love story proves that God is faithful to ALL of his promises. I’m so happy for you both!

Josh & Randi Engagement | Fort Worth Wedding Photographers

When Randi divulged to us that she and Josh have been told they could star in their own Reality TV show, we knew we were in for a wild ride! While Josh was telling us he is a laywer, he looks to Randi and smiles as he says, “And she’s my stay-at-home fiance.” LOL! Does this tell you about the hilarity of their relationship? How about when Randi hysterically tells us the story that after leaving the salon, a huge gust of wind blows off one of her eyelashes? Get the picture? 
We fell in love with Josh and Randi and their outgoing personalities. Randi is the life of the party, the kind of person who can light up a room, has knack for style and details, and is a ball of fun! Have we told you how beautiful she is? Josh knows this very well! Josh and Randi already have a “kid”, their adorable dog Kennedy, who had a tragic event weeks before their engagement session. The poor groomer confused a trim with practically a full body shave, but needless to say her hair grew out just enough for her session! We can’t wait for you to meet her below! Randi and Josh, you are both a hoot! Thanks for making us belly laugh through your session. Hope you love what we captured!

Mike & Ashley Engagement | Granbury Wedding Photographers

As we waited in the parking lot at the RaceTrac to meet Ashley and Mike for their engagement session, we witnessed how much Mike adores his beautiful fiance. In my rearview mirror, we watched as Mike tenderly placed his hand on the small of Ashley’s back as they walked side by side into the gas station. Ashley and I looked at each other with big smiles, we knew we would love spending the next few hours with them! Ashley is a teacher and Mike works for Southwest Airlines and share the same birthday! How fun is that? These two were such naturals in front of the camera and spilled with love for each other! The saying “When you know, you KNOW” is so true for them. We can’t wait for them to tie the knot in June !

These two lovelies are going to have gorgeous children, at least that’s what we told them all throughout their session! Tyler so sweetly planned the proposal he knew would make Jennifer’s heart skip a beat. She had no clue he was about to pop the question since she was told someone had a surprise waiting at the church for her. She LOVES surprises and little did she know as she walked into Acton Baptist Church and saw rose petals lining the church aisle, her prince charming was waiting to spend the rest of his life with her! So sweet . Enjoy!
