Chad & Catherine Engagement | McGregor Wedding Photographers

Posted on July 18, 2012

We know we shouldn’t have favorite couples but we couldn’t help but fall in love with Catherine and Chad the moment we met. Catherine’s family has some land in McGregor where she has so many fond memories, so Ash and I made the journey south.

We are always up for new adventures so as we spotted the cornfield while driving on Catherine’s family land, we were beyond excited! A few minutes into our shoot, I see Ashley’s little pregnant belly out of the corner of my eye wedged between two corn stalks. I erupted in laughter as she squealed, “I’m stuck!” Just in case you’re wondering how we captured the sweet giggle between Catherine & Chad in the corn stalks, we’ve revealed our secret!

These love birds are head over heels for each other. Like crazy in love. Chad quickly earned our respect as we heard him talk about Catherine. Comments like “I know these pictures are important to her so I’m doing my best to have fun and be relaxed” and “I had my eye on Catherine for some time and wanted so badly to date her but I waited a few months in respect that she just got out of a relationship” brought a smile to our faces. These kinds of statements speak volumes and in the few hours we spent with them, we saw how confident and giddy Chad makes Catherine. So sweet.

Chad and Catherine both work for the Rangers and that’s the very place they fell in love. It was Chad’s childhood dream to be employed by the Rangers so he is living his dream! They are super passionate about their jobs and each other! Thanks for all the laughs and great memories. We look forward to spending more time with you both!!
