Cole & Kaylee: Engaged {Fort Worth Wedding Photographers}

Posted on September 8, 2010

When we saw the way that Cole acted when he was around Kaylee, we knew he was a man in love. You see, Micah and I both went to high school with Cole and remember how he was always a fun-loving, laid-back kind of guy. It wasn’t surprising to see him having a great time with his fiance, Kaylee, but written all over his face was the love he holds for his future bride. Lucky for us, we got to spend a bright and early morning with this cute couple!

Now, just so we can get this out in the open – Girls, we know your man doesn’t enjoy getting all dressed up just so he can have a photographer take pictures of him. We know that. Seriously, we hear all the time how excited the girls are to pick outfits for the session and have new pictures to hang up in the walls of their home, but the guys – well – they would rather be playing a round of golf. Well, lucky for Cole, we are not your average photographers. :)

We started the session with a little bit of golf. I don’t think we’ve ever seen a happier guy at a photo session since we began photography! I think we might need to start each photo session with some sport or “guy activity” from now on. I have to say, he was pretty cooperative for the rest of the morning! All teasing aside, Cole and Kaylee were actually SUPER fun to be around and we truly enjoyed capturing them as a couple during this time in their lives! We can’t wait for their wedding!

There was still so much dew on the ground, everyone’s feet and shoes were wet and grassy. But there was an upside to the dew! I got to write them a little message!

Story time. So – when we took Cole & Kaylee by the water for a few photos, the ducks and geese thought we were coming to feed them. When they realized we had no food, they became quite territorial and started charging at us. I’m sorry, Micah, but this is TOO funny not to share. :)

Micah grabbed this shot just as we were all leaving. Love it!
