Matt & Laura: Engagement {DFW Wedding Photographer}

We met Laura for the first time at Starbucks in Benbrook. On our way to meet her, we took guesses at what she would be like – Blonde hair or brown? Tall or Short? Trendy or Sporty? It’s always so fun to guess from the emails and/or the sound of their voice on the phone. We always take a guess before the first meeting with a client (we just like to entertain ourselves, ok?!). All I remember is that Micah was spot-on with Laura! Sweet, brown hair, and cute as a BUTTON (not that I didn’t think she was going to be cute as a button). What we didn’t know is how prepared she was going to be. She had her folder with all her wedding plans and contracts and everything all together in one place! Yay for Laura!

Matt proposed to Laura at a quaint fountain on the TCU campus. That was their school and a special place for the two of them, so of course – we had to go back and capture some memories for them there for their engagement shoot! Matt and Laura are perfect together. They have a lot of fun together and show lots of affection (we told you they were perfect together)! It was so fun to go around TCU and Trinity Park just capturing their personalities and love. Such joy! We are really looking forward to their wedding!

I don’t know why, but I like to take pictures of Micah taking pictures. I figured I would include some in a couple of her “positions” she gets in to shoot. Seriously, this girl has some moves you (photographers) need to take note of! haha!
