Matt & Sarah Wedding | Grandbury Wedding Photographers

Posted on April 13, 2012

Matt & Sarah’s wedding was one of the most special we’ve been a part of. Not only was the love they had for each other so sweet and apparent, but the way their friends were so supportive and excited for them was such a neat reflection of how amazing of a couple they are.

We loved all of the sweet details of their wedding, but by far our most favorite personalized touch was how Matt & Sarah asked people that are special to them to make their best cake. There were tons of homemade cakes… It was so awesome!  We couldn’t stop talking about how sweet that it was for each person to be honored and also for them to go to so much trouble making beautiful (and very delicious!) cakes!

Such a great wedding! Enjoy!

Billy & Anny Newlywed | DFW Wedding Photographers

Posted on April 11, 2012

We have had so much fun getting to know Billy & Anny over the last year. We did their engagement session last summer, Anny’s bridals last fall, their wedding in October, and finally their (belated) Day After session this spring. After so many special moments with them, you kinda get attached! It’s been amazing to really learn about them, share in the joys of their wedding and marriage, and celebrate the new season of Newlywed life. It’s a little sad to know we won’t be working with them anymore, but we are so thankful to have made some awesome new friends! :)

Their Newlywed session was at The Mansion on Turtle Creek, and it was such a fun and beautiful place to shoot! So fun! Billy & Anny, we are thankful for you guys and so glad we met you!

Exciting News at Double Knot!

Posted on April 10, 2012

We want to make a glorious announcement about some exciting news at Double Knot! For some time now, Ash and I have been dreaming about hiring someone to be our Studio Manager. Our passion is photographing love and building and nurturing relationships with our clients. To be completely honest, we longed for the day we could focus on what we love the most! Many days we would chat about the “What If’s” and ask God to show us to how make this all possible. Here we are months down the road and it feels amazing to see our dreams become a reality!!

We would love to introduce you to the most amazing woman – a woman of integrity, witty humor, fabulous work ethic and heart for God. She is more than we could have ever asked for!! Thank you Brittney for ALL you do! We honor you!

Adam & Kiley Wedding | DFW Wedding Photographers

Posted on April 6, 2012

It’s always so fun to shoot the wedding of someone you know personally… but this wedding was super special. Since I (Ash) am friends with the bride from college and the groom from leading worship together, it was so neat to be a part of their big day. I think the best part was knowing the anticipation that each has had for the last few months… Adam would give me the countdown in days (love it!) and I would get the scoop on how the wedding planning was going from Kiley. When the big day finally came, what a joy to see how everything came together and they could not be more excited to tie the knot.

Also… my hubby was in the wedding, so that was really fun! He even pulled me aside for one slow dance at the wedding (which was a big deal… because EVERY wedding, Micah & always say that we wish our hubbies danced with us!). It was so sweet. Not so fun – getting your picture taken by your business partner after working/running around sweating for 8 hours. Haha… oh joy.

Adam & Kiley, you guys are so dear to us. We love you so much and pray strength and blessing over your marriage. Hope you love the sneak peek!!
